meeting time for today is 10.00am~ kyo-san called me in the morning n said he just woke up n still abit dizzy (drink too much the day before)....so today is actually my first time to ride by myself lol....met up with raphael just in case i get lost n found out the meeting point is actually near my place (Saiin station) n not tenjingawa school!!!! ><'' arghhhhhhh!!!! wasted my time and energy...and is all raphael's fault! but nvm, because it's snowing...worth it! feels great to ride under the snow =D

Finally met up with joel they all! Joel is the guide again for today~ we ride all the way to 八坂神社...took us abt 30 to 40mins? super tired after tht = = didnt take much picture there coz already took some 2 weeks ago...after tht, we walked ard 祇園 and finally 花见小街 (we plan to come here few times dy)! but is better to come at night so we decided to come back on friday night~ might see some geisha then~

we're actually quite hungry after the ride so we went to this restaurant....they only serve 1 dish here! Is stg like お好み焼き...i forgot the name again..is 650yen~ just realised it is recommended in my guide book lol!

That's my specs actually but it looks better on him lol!

After having enough rest, we continue walking n i saw alot of good desserts restaurant!!! ahhhh....i want to eat all of them!!! especially the parfait!!!! they all look so delicious >< but but but not today....we still need to move on to our next destination - 哲学の道!Is one of the place i wanted to visit in Kyoto especially during the cherry blossom season!!

It  is a pedestrian path that follows a cherry-tree-lined canal in Kyoto, between 銀閣寺 and 南禅寺. The route is so-named because the influential 20th century Japanese philosopher and Kyoto University professor Nishida Kitaro is thought to have used it for daily meditationDefinitely will come back again ard end of March!!

The path started with 若王子神社~

then we ride along the path n reached somewhere near 銀閣寺~ a very crowded street full of restaurant and souvenirs shops! Walked our way up to the temple and i again bought some souvenirs hehe~ and suddenly it started snowing heavily!!! XD

So cold.....so we stopped and had some snack lol!

yummy~ they also provide free hot green tea~ great service n combination~!

We reached 銀閣寺 but we didnt go in lol...bcoz joel went there few times dy n u need to pay 500yen for entrance fees...so me n raphael decided not to go in...im fine since i'll definitely come back here! We went to another shrine next to 銀閣寺~ it is 八神社~

The next stop is 賀茂御祖神社 (下鴨神社)~ It is one of the oldest shrine in Kyoto, and goes back to the days even the capital was transferred to Kyoto in 794. It was registered in the UNESCO's world Heritage List in 1994!

                                  龙年行大运!!!

There's more to see in the shrine! more pictures coming! There's 十二时辰 and each represents 十二生肖~ you find ur own 生肖and pray~

We were bit tired so we rest for awhile b4 we ride back....it took us another 30mins..my legs r super sore!!! dun think i can do the same thing next week...need some rest...= =

me and raphael decided to have early dinner at 松屋 (very cheap food), next to Saiin station (near my place)~ had おろポン酢牛めし並~ 350yen!

think i need to sleep early today...super super tired! and i still need to do my homework! luckily tmr is monday...only japanese study for the next few days! 頑張ってね!
